New Music From Wesrok & Busy Signal Dropped Last Friday

Last Friday, January 19, Jamaica’s king of country-reggae music – Wesrok – dropped a new collaborative single with international recording artist Busy Signal. Titled Don’t Get Me Wrong, it is being described as a strong song (message music), with a rich melodic structure.

Don’t Get Me Wrong is Wesrok‘s third combination with a notable dancehall figure. His first was published approximately two years ago when he partnered with Masicka on a tune called Try to Hold Me. That was followed by Is There A Party, done with Laa Lee in 2022. Both tracks are still enjoying heavy rotation today.

When asked how he feels about this upcoming tune, a humbled Wesrok said the following: “I believe this collab with Busy Signal is a very good one. I am very optimistic about it. Busy Signal has an international flavor. He is very committed. He is a down to earth person; and he has a good fan base, so I’m only expecting the best out of this collab.”
