The Swiss Music Awards winner Danitsa presented her album “SYCLE” in 2021 and had an album Tour in Switzerland, France and Germany that followed. Today, the Franco-Swiss singer is going back to her musical roots with another conscious, trailblazing single: Karma. This album was a resounding success whether from the media or the public.
“Karma” has a soulful, heartfelt vibe that speaks to people not accepting the negativity brought on by others trying to block ones growth. According to Danitsa, they will be judged in time. This reggae infused pop influenced track will soothe troubled hearts and give hope to the people who feel held back by persons whom they consider close.

DANITSA
Danitsa was born in Paris into a family where music has always held an important place. At the age of 10, she started to sing on the compositions of her father, a reggae fan. Thanks to her mother, she discovered soul, funk and hip-hop. It is at the crossroads of these influences that she grows up.
In 2008, she moved to Geneva (Switzerland), and met the Little Lion Sound collective with whom she recorded Dubplates that quickly went viral. She then records the single “Good Coffee” with Di-Meh, the song also spreads quickly and is heard by hundreds of thousands of people and establishes her as one of the revelations of the Swiss Romande scene.
After a few mixtape and EP’s, she releases her first album “EGO” at the end of 2017, bringing a new sound to her music and the songs “Captain” and “Remember Me” become hit-singles in Switzerland. The album received great support from national radio stations and Danitsa was awarded a Swiss Music Awards (Best Act Romandie). This allowed her to set up a tour with more than 100 shows in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands and USA.
Danitsa is a concept, a mechanism with two phases, introspection and action. She felt the need to recharge her batteries and take some time for herself in order to release an album worthy of the name. Her asset is her voice, the result of her life experience. She likes to play with it, try new things and make something original out of it. Danitsa is also Shanna, endowed with a great humanity, she likes to discover the world and its functioning. This led her to the conception of this new album.
Nourished by collaborations and international experiences, her new album SYCLE defines the universe of Danitsa. A melting pot of her roots, experiences and travels, at the border of several musical genres but rooted in her urban and pop influence. This new project is released on Island Records (Universal Music) with her team and her label Evidence Music. More than ever, she is ready to defend it and take her career to the next level!
Four years after the release of her first album, acclaimed by the press and the public, Danitsa announces the release of her new album SYCLE which will be released on November 26th on the Island Records label (Universal Music). An immersion in her artistic world and a synthesis of these last four years of experience, between international tour and travel. The artist proves that she has found herself artistically and offers us a mature and accomplished project.
