“Ni Mama” (“I’m Leaving” in Diola) is the new single from Mariaa Siga. On this reggae title, accompanied by the group Artikal Band, Mariaa Siga sings to us in Diola and in French, about her need to escape and to leave when the pressure of everyday life becomes too strong.
Recorded and mixed by Asha D in Montpellier, Ni Mama comes from Mariaa Siga’s future EP scheduled for fall 2023.
