The dynamic Grammy nominated duo of Loud City Music and Twelve 9 Records have collaborated on the ISLAND WAVES EP which boast a roster of impacting artistes such as Conkarah, Khalia, Kumar Fyah, Eesah, Runkus, Usain Bolt and NJ.
The songs will have you washed with a wave of emotions. Eesah’s ‘Rude Bwoy’ is a serious social commentary song dealing with the gritty inner city realities faced by persons in the ghetto, Olympic Champion Usain Bolt and NJ go emo on the ‘Days Like These’ track which tackle the stresses of life, Grammy nominated Khalia pleads for time in a relationship to sort out her mental space, Runkus delivers an ode of a lovers rock with ‘Right Energy’, Conkarah with a light and breezy flow will have you rockin and groovin with ‘Too Late To Be Calling’ while Kumar Fyah’s raspy vocals will wrap you in feelings of love with ‘This Must Be Love’
The EP forms part of an upcoming album slated to be released in the 2nd quarter of 2024.
