Famous Bosnian-Herzegovinian rapper surprised listeners today with a new song and video. After his last album, where we heard him in his recognizable hip-hop style, Frenkie appears in a reggae edition in his new songInshallah.
The last album was called ‘Stari Frenkie’ (Old Frenkie), and now we present to you the new Frenkie, therapper jokes. In the song “Inshallah,” we hear a mature, melodic, and singing Frenkie. The song radiates positivity, and with its relaxing music video, it becomes a summer hit.
The video was directed by Adnan Avdić and his Nine Studio team, while the song was produced by Marko Gaćina, a producer from the band Brain Holidays from Zagreb\ I don’t even know what exactly happened, but one day I just started writing reggae songs. It’s not the first time I’ve flirted with that genre before, but this time the whole album is in that style.
It’s all related to my spiritual maturation and my mood. This sound currently suits me, so get ready for my first reggae album! said an enthusiastic Frenkie. Besides Zagreb-based producer Marko Gaćina, the album also features Toshi Domaćin, a member of the Helem Nejse crew, and the Slovenian duo RootsInSession sound, Pier, and DJ Fu.
