Reality Shock presents a brand new single ‘Never Give Up’ by Jnr Watson, in collaboration with CultureMix Arts & Reggae Collective.
Jnr Watson is a highly talented composer/musical director, multi instrumentalist, steel pan arranger, tuner & teacher. As an artist he has performed at many festivals including Womad, Glastonbury, Notting Hill Carnival and One Love.
Reality Shock producer Kris Kemist has been assisting Jnr Watson in leading the Arts Council funded CultureMix Arts ‘Reggae Collective’ project, providing artist development & recording opportunities for upcoming artists, whilst working on a new series of releases in collaboration with Reality Shock Records.
‘Never Give Up’ is the first of these releases; a message of resilience & perseverance delivered on an uptempo steppers riddim. The song was written by Jnr Watson, featuring Carl Benjamin on drums, Cedric Munsch & Maxime Luck on the brass section, backing vocals by Indra Rudder & other instruments by Jnr Watson & Kris Kemist, mixed & mastered at Reality Shock Studio. A dub mix is also available exclusively on Bandcamp.
