The album is characterized by various influences: Rocksteady, Ska, Roots but also the sounds of upbeat music typical of the 70’s and 80’s. The bass lines, in combination with the drums, recall the golden years of this genre, the keyboards played with resonant themes, sax and trumpet give that mysticism and lover vibe that distinguish Jamaican music, the guitar with the persistent upbeat and finally the voice with its thousand nuances.
A mature album with topics ranging from the love and beauty that surrounds us to the denunciation of those in power who exploit the weakest only for personal gain. People who talk behind, friends who come and go but also the most personal emotions, in a historical context in which we all know everything but we often tend not to want to see and face the truth.
