We were once strangers
Now we are lovers
It’s amazing how the journey of life unfolds
The devoted Rastafarian singer is known for songs like his debut single “Virtuous Woman” that empower and empower women. Speaking about his new material, Warrior King said, “‘Once Strangers’ is a relatable song that was inspired by a real life experience.” Warrior King is managed by his queen, Leslie-Anne Dyer, who also features on the single’s cover. The loving husband continued, “In any relationship, the two individuals were actually once strangers and then become intimate and become lovers. So, I came up with a fresh and unique style on a fresh reggae riddim with the perfect saxophone melody.”
A music video for “Once Strangers” is in the works, and Warrior King will be performing select dates around the world as he prepares for the release of his sixth studio album.
