Raga album Tell Them musical fusion of reggae and dub poetry

Tell Dem evokes and reflects long friendships and poetic exchanges, mystical alignments and deep reflections over home-cooked meals like fish stew with provisions, chili sauce, zaboca and cassava pone… This work brings together many forces from the New York reggae scene and beyond, from former members of Easy Star All Stars and legendary reggae percussionist Larry McDonald, to members of the Riverside Church Choir, to tell We Story…

The album was recorded and released independently under the musical direction of Brooklyn-based, Trinidadian-American composer, songwriter and producer Chris St. Hilaire.

Raga is a Trinidadian dub poet and songwriter based in New York.
