Dub Camp Summer End Party

Because the Get Up! Association wants to extend the summer and the Dub Camp style sound meeting , the festival organizers have booked a back-to-school date at La Carrière de St Herblain near Nantes on Friday, September 6, 2024! An explosive meeting of three Sound Systems: Dawa Hifi , Indy Boca and Lion’s Den will all be present with their own home-made sound system, their exclusive dubplates and their respective MCs: Davojah , Jacko and Black Omolo …! 

LION’S DEN ft Black Omolo

Lion’s Den is a Berlin sound system founded by music activist Ras Lion (selekta / operator / engineer). A beautiful selection of records, powerful dubs and conscious lyrics, heavy speakers and amplifiers and a deep love for music combine to create positive vibes and a special experience during each session. For them: “Music is inspiration! Music is salvation! Music is meditation! Music is education!” They will be accompanied by singer Black Omolo.

Dawa Hifi ft Davojah

Dawa Hifi is one of the most efficient and active sound systems in France. Launched by Ben and Val in 2005, the focus is on home productions. You can discover their first vinyl release in 2008 on the Blackboard jungle label and regular digital releases on the odg prod net label. After their last visit with their sound system in 2013, Dawa Hifi are back in Nantes accompanied for the occasion by the singer Davojah!

Indy Boca ft Jacko

Indy Boca Sound System is a collective from the Paris region that has been united since 2008 around reggae and UK dub. Passionate about the different repertoires that gravitate around reggae, the members of Indy Boca broadcast their selections during dances with their homemade sound system. They explore roots reggae from the 70s but also more recent dub tracks in order to convey a positive idea of ​​humanity, a message of respect and sharing. They will be accompanied by the singer Jacko.
